Summary:
Hillcross Primary School in the London Borough of Merton delivers CPD across the school by sharing and enhancing the skills of all its staff and by learning from each other. The programme features teaching assistants exploring the effectiveness of special needs software and how nursery nurses are trained to take a full part in team teaching in reception. We also sit in on some of the informal professional dialogues that take place in the school, as a Literacy Co-ordinator and a Year 2 teacher analyse their KS1 SATs results, an NQT reports back to the headteacher on a monitoring project she's been asked to do, and the SENCO briefs the deputy head on the training implications of the school's latest PANDA figures.
