- Summary:
- The Teaching Challenge is the series where celebrities find out just how tough it is to be a teacher. Comedian and playwright Arthur Smith , The King Of Comperes , attempts to teach citizenship to a rather jaded GCSE class. He has performed more than a thousand times before a live audience, now he faces the toughest crowd of his career, a sober one. Teacher Mary Thurston tries to sound encouraging as Arthur describes his improvisational approach to teaching. At the end of his session, both the class and Arthur confess themselves to have been profoundly changed by their experience.
