DE GAULLE - PARIS - GREET MR. K.: Nikita Khrushchev arrives in Paris for Pre-Summit talks with Premier De Gaulle and receives a full-dress reception. His route from the airport is lined with large but restrained crowds, and heavy security precautions mark every aspect of his visit. SOUTH AFRICAN CLASH: In South Africa, Africans protesting against a new law requiring passes to be carried at all times, clash with police who fir into the crowd of thousands, killing many, and stirring up a storm of international outcries. WEEPING MADONNA ENSHRINED: On Long Island, an Icon of the Virgin, which is said to have wept when a worshipper prayed before it, is pronounced an authentic spiritual manifestation by Archbishop Iakos of the Creek Orthodox Church and enshrined in solemn rites. "SNOW QUEEN'S" HOMECOMING: Sandra Dee, U-I star most recently featured in the new release "THE SNOW QUEEN" is feted by her home town, Bayonne, New Jersey, in a gala day that starts with a visit to her old school, and is highlighted by an emotional family reunion. INTER-CITY GOLDEN GLOVES: Chicago and New York's top fistic amateurs clash in Madison Square Garden in the Inter-City Golden Gloves. Lightweight Vince Shomo of New York retains his crown, heavyweight Gary Jawish loses to Chicago's Cassius Clay, and the excitement packed card of 16 bouts ends with team honors going to Chicago.
