- NATO FORCES STAGE MANEUVERS Air and sea forces of America, Britain, and France join in North Atlantic Treaty Organization maneuvers in the Mediterranean. The exercise deals with a simulated submarine attack between Gibraltar and Malta - a stern test of the mighty international fleet's readiness. SPAIN GREETS RETURNEES FROM REDS SPAIN - 286 Spaniards held prisoner by Russia since World War Two come home. Members of the Blue Brigade, which fought under Hitler's swastika, they spend almost a decade in forced labor camps. AID TO KOREA CALIFORNIA - An aerial Noah's Ark flies to Korea, loaded with goats, rabbits and bees, collected by church and civic groups to re-stock war ravaged farms. In Korea farmers settle in United Nations territory north of the 38th Parallel. They're welcomed by United States Major General Magruder. Land that was once a battlefield will soon yield badly needed crops for Korea. NARCOTICS RING SMASHED SAN FRANCISCO - The arrest of seven men smashes one of the biggest dope smuggling rings in years. Heroin and opium worth millions on the illicit market is seized by Federal agents. ATOMIC SAFETY SUIT WASHINGTON - At Hanford Plutonium Works, a new safety suit for atomic technicians is shown. It's a hollow plastic man that rests in "hot" rooms. Technicians crawl in through a "tail," slip inside, and work in comfort and safety. "FAITH" STAMP ISSUED WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Eisenhower, Secretary of State Dulles and Postmaster General Summerfield take part in the biggest ceremony of its kind in Post Office history, marking the release of the first stamp with a religious message. FRISKY FILLY WORLD'S SMALLEST NEW JERSEY - The tiniest filly ever is shown. Just two weeks old, the foal stood only twenty inches at birth, wasn't expected to survive. But she's frisky as can be today - though still less than half the size she should be. YO-YO CONTEST NEW YORK - Yo-yo's are back and all the kids have got them. Demonstrators are mobbed by avid school kids as they show the latest techniques and stunts with the up again down again toy. WATER SKI CHAMPIONSHIP FLORIDA - The seventh annual Water Ski tournament, with top stars skimming the lagoon. Dick Pope Jr. gives a breath-taking slalom run, and Alfredo Mendoza jumps a record shattering 99 feet.
