- Summary:
- This short dramatic clip can be shown on an interactive whiteboard and used as a lesson starter. It is a helpful stimulus for writing an adventure story in KS1 or KS2 English. In the clip we watch a woman tracking footprints across a sandy shoreline and calling out across the deserted beach. Another figure is signaling to her from high up in the cliffs. Who are these people? How did they reach this deserted place? What will happen next? The clip should be of particular relevance to teachers who are focusing on story setting, plot or the adventure story genre.
