- Summary:
- Grigorii Efimovich Rasputin was a man from a small obscure Siberian village, who became very close to the imperial throne. He was the person who told the imperial children bedtime stories. For the first time because of the collapse of communism and subsequent opening of Russian archives, TIMEWATCH is able to tell the story of Rasputin. The programme reveals how Rasputin managed to captivate the Tsarina, and the extent of his secret influence during WW1.
