- A documentary about the life and times of Reverend Troy Perry, founder of the Metropolitan Community Chuch, the first church to recognize the spiritual needs of the gay community. He was also the first openly gay person to serve on the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Rights. In 1969, he performed the first public same-sex wedding in the United States and in 1970 he filed the first lawsuit seeking legal recognition for same-sex marriages. Perry has been on the forefront of the battle for gay rights.
