Summary:
This World War II-era newsreel includes the following segments: 1. preparations for the World Security Conference in Chicago. 2. Attacking the Kerama Islands; Admiral Turner and General Buckner direct operations; troop-carrying barges swarm ashore and the Keramas are won; opening the offensive against Okinawa with approximately 100,000 troops. 3. In Washington, D.C., three eminent spokesmen for labor and business meet to sign an agreement to promote cooperative postwar industrial relations in the U.S. 4. To speed the advance of Allied forces in Europe, a large-scale airborne assault is initiated.
