- Summary:
- This film is intended for clinicians who would like to be more creative in their work with people of all ages. It notes some of the reasons why art and drama are helpful in assessment and treatment, as well as essential conditions for enhancing comfort and creativity in clinical work. After showing simple basic art and drama materials, a variety of techniques are demonstrated by a number of experienced therapists for work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Considerations of what to offer based on clinical goals are followed by illustrations of how to safely and sensitively invite people to reflect on the process and the product in both art and drama.
