Summary:
OKRs (objectives and key results) are an especially useful goal-setting framework for all kinds of businesses and organizations. OKRs enable teams to simultaneously focus on what needs doing here and now, while staying aligned with objectives and broader company strategy. Any team can apply OKRs by choosing 3-5 key objectives that support the business strategy, and for each, 3-5 key results to measure the success of the objectives. OKRs sharpen up activities and ways to achieve the organization's strategy. By classifying and executing specific plans and activities on a quarterly basis, key results are more readily obtained, and objectives for that quarter suddenly come within reach.
