The military rebellion led by Colonel Francisco Alberto Caamano Deño and the subsequent US military intervention are treated in detail in this film made entirely with images and sounds of the time. The film was second finalist at the New Latin American Film Festival in Havana in December 1989, and was awarded the Pitirre Prize for the best documentary from the Caribbean region at the San Juan Film Festival in October 1990.
