- Summary:
- Physics teacher Andy Smith is in a class of his own. Since becoming a teacher, Andy has devoted his time and energy to making his lessons exciting, interesting and original. And it's for these reasons that he won his Secondary Teacher of the Year award back in 2005. Andy thinks that everything to do with physics, and indeed teaching in general, should revolve around fun and excitement. And this doesn't change when getting the children to focus on their own learning. Since assessment for learning has been introduced, Andy has been developing a number of different games to assess how much the children have learned. These games usually take place at the end of lessons and are great way to let him and the children know what they have learned about the topic and what level they have achieved.
