- This is a song about the modal auxiliaries in German. (Sometimes called "modal verbs", but technically aren't, even though I said that in this song.) I started thinking of ways to help my students remember how to use the modals and how to conjugate them and this is what came to mind. I know I have used this tune for a different grammar song in the past, but it is so easily adapted to whatever topic you want that I had to use it.
