Summary:
Songs to help you remember the prepositions for the accusative and dative cases along with the two-way prepositions (Wechselpräpositionen). This video includes a German Accusative Preposition Song, a German Dative Preposition Song and TWO German Two-Way Preposition Songs. The Accusative Preposition song is something I made up on the spot. I only included the 5 most used accusative prepositions in German (für, um, durch, ohne, gegen). The Dative Preposition song is to the tune of "An der schönen blauen Donau" (By The Beautiful Blue Danube). The dative prepositions included in this song are aus, außer, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, and zu. The first two-way preposition song is to the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and the second two-way preposition song is to the tune of "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain". The two-way prepositions included in these songs are an, auf, hinter, in, neben, über, unter, vor, and zwischen. I hope you enjoy these songs.
