- Summary:
- José Fernandez Torres aka Tomatito (little tomato in Spanish) performs here on the Moods stage in 2017 with his band, comprised of José del Tomate (his son) on guitar, Kiki Cotriñas and Mari Àngeles on vocals, and El Piraña on percussion. El Torombo offers an impressive dance performance, based on long moments of distension interrupted by dazzling accelerations - all of which make for a captivating moment of flamenco. It is a very warm atmosphere and bewitching voices shout the joys and sorrows of the heart. The so-called "Disciple of Paco de Lucia" delivers his most beautiful compositions on a traditional gypsy flamenco repertoire that is tinged with jazz round the edges. **Anaïs Christidis Guillemard**.
