Summary:
As Antarctica warms, the plight of creatures on the ice is now famous. But what about life under the ice? In 2014, SERC marine biologist Gail Ashton tracked the fate of marine organisms in diving surveys while working with the British Antarctic Survey at Rothera Research Station. That meant plunging roughly 50 feet underwater in a full dry suit.
