- Animals are great wanderers, making epic journeys on land, through the air or beneath the ocean. This series follows six individual animals on a maiden voyage in the ultimate travel show. Each film is packed with action and adventure in the most spectacular of settings. A tiny swallow flies from rural England to tropical Botswana, a new-born Caribou calf treks across the Tundra, a Monarch butterfly flutters across North America, an eel swims the depths of the Pacific, and a grey whale makes an annual round-trip through tropical and polar seas. This episode follows the 2,000 mile journey of an eel from its birthplace in the Pacific Ocean to the rivers and lakes of Eastern Australia.
