Summary:
Alaskans use their drive and determination to get necessary chores done in preparation for the long winter ahead. In Chandalar, Glenn prepares for his dall sheep hunt by scouting for the animals and building a camp that he can return to. In Nenana, the river waters have dropped, and with the chum run soon to arrive, Jessie races to get his fish wheel into the river and operating properly. In Kavik, Sue struggles to get her camp up and running and has no choice but to call in for reinforcements.
