- Summary:
- This brand new training program on equal employment opportunity provides a thorough overview of the U.S. employment laws on discrimination. The program covers employment discrimination laws on: Race & Color. Religion. Disability. National Origin. Age. Sex. Pregnancy. Genetic Information. Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity. Harassment. Retaliation. EEO law applies to US organizations of 15 or more employees except for age discrimination law which applies to organizations of 20 or more employees. The EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) is tasked with enforcing EEO laws. This agency will come to a finding and then attempt to settle the case with the complainant and the employer. If no settlement can be achieved the commission may seek enforcement through the courts. Equal opportunity laws are a critical part of the United States economy. Workplace discrimination and harassment destroy employee morale and creativity. When organizations are fair and diverse innovation thrives and productivity explodes resulting business success. Make sure that your workforce complies with EEO laws. Not only is it the right thing to do, it's also the law!
