- Handicap reste un mot qu'on n'entend peu ou pas en Nouvelle-Calédonie. Et les personnes en situation de handicap, on ne les voit guère. Le film s'intéresse au parcours de quatre Calédoniens, originaires de milieux différents qui ont su se relever après un accident de la vie. La reconstruction, l'accessibilité, le monde du travail, l'entourage familial, autant de thèmes que le film aborde avec bienveillance et empathie pour mettre en mot et en lumière la problématique du handicap.
- Disability remains a word that is heard little or not at all in New Caledonia. And people with disabilities, we hardly see them. The film focuses on the journey of four Caledonians from different backgrounds who have been able to get up after an accident in life. Reconstruction, accessibility, the world of work, the family environment, so many themes that the film tackles with benevolence and empathy to put into words and highlight the issue of disability.
