He memorised each piece, acting all of the characters within it, imitating their voices and gestures. A Christmas Dickens evokes the intimate atmosphere of a Victorian drawing room after-dinner entertainment. Evoking the intimate atmosphere of a Victorian drawing room after-dinner entertainment, actor Simon Callow re-creates the author's performance style in five mesmerising pieces. The audience, too, are in period costume.
