- Government Ministers come and go, but civil servants are in the Ministry forever. Paul Eddington and Nigel Hawthorne return to the corridors of power in Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn's political comedy for a third series. In the reorganisation of government administration, the Minister is tasked with reducing local government bureaucracy. During a radio interview, it becomes apparent that he does not realise just how daunting this task will be.
