This year's soloists are celebrated pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the distinguished baritone Thomas Hampson. Music ranges from Rossini and Verdi to Rachmaninov, Gershwin, Thomas Adès and Hugh Wood. With, of course, the traditional rousing finale.
