- The presented video shows the important steps in the surgical anatomy and dissection of various lymphatic structures during neck dissection in a patient with head and neck cancer. Head and neck cancers are very common and the relationship with tobacco abuse and Human Papilloma Virus infection is established. Oral cancers are the most common cancers amongst males in India and South East Asian countries. This educational operative video is aimed at general surgeons, head and neck surgeons, surgical oncologists and also medical students at large. An effort has been made to make it useful to all postgraduates and postdoctoral students in surgery, surgical oncology and head and neck surgery. The technique has been covered as ten crucial and important steps in an easy to understand way.
