- In this program Eve Ash, Psychologist and Founder, Seven Dimensions, interviews Jan Durrans, SVP, Chief of Staff & Chief Performance Officer, BOFI Federal Bank to explore some practical advice and strategies. Jan Durrans, a Senior Vice President, has had years of experience developing the most efficient ways to manage projects and achieve success. She explains what works for her and why she shares her strategies with so many staff. A powerful program to motivate viewers to want to improve their planning and scheduling so they achieve success as they go up the corporate ladder. Everyone must be organized to complete work efficiently and the best way is to commit to a regular written plan, identify tasks to complete and prioritize. It's important to be specific in a weekly planner and schedule tasks, as well as appointments, in a calendar. Jan uses a workbook with printed calendar for best results and to be mobile for meetings. She suggests chunking down projects, allocating tougher tasks to the end of the week, leaving space in the calendar for additional tasks and having regular reviews so everyone is accountable. She knows it takes discipline and a mindset for success to stay on track and avoid distractions. Jan is motivated by being successful and listening to her, the motivation rubs off!
