- Wheeldon's acclaimed Cinderella is based on the original Brothers Grimm tale. Instead of a pumpkin and glass slipper, Cinderella's tears over the loss of her mother nourish a magical tree, which, along with four sprites, assists Cinderella on her arrival at the ball.
