Summary:
Craft beer is a fast growing popular movement in Japan. Rob LoBreglio, Owner and Brewmaster at the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company in Madison, Wisconsin (USA), sets out to learn more about this exciting emerging market. With a small team he meets with Tetsuya Kiyosawa in Tokyo. Tetsuya was trained as a brewer by Rob himself 20 years earlier and today is working in the craft beer industry in Japan. Together they visit beer brewers, crawl from craft beer pub to craft beer pub, and meet with and talk to beer lovers. They discover how diverse the craft beer market in Japan is becoming, and also how different the situation for distribution and growth is from that in the USA. Their visit provides with a unique view into an unknown aspect of Japan popular culture!
