Summary:
Dominican Republic 1 - Haitians enter. Hosted in a monastery in the Dominican Republic, Luís Nachbin looks closely at the migratory pressure that arrives from Haiti. Guided by freelances Kelvin and Sidimar, he seeks the roots of a historical antagonism and its reflections in the present. For this, he knows from the capital Santo Domingo to a community of Haitian immigrants, 80 kilometers away, where the life expectancy does not exceed 36 years.
