Summary:
Mahasona: A complex ritual involving many gifts to the gods and the whole demon army in a series of masked dances and comic performances. Screened at the Australian Anthropological Conference 27-30 August 1984. A relatively unedited version will be provided in keeping with the idea of visual archaeology and the idea of using full length rituals in teaching. An account of the ritual by Michael Egan will be made available.
