Summary:
This film, shot entirely on the site of "Notre-Dame de la Garde", Our Lady of the Garde, leads us to visit one of the most imposing basilicas in France. One of the most imposing and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, and also one of the most visited monuments in the world, one of the most prestigious jewels of our heritage. The chapels, the crypt, the statues, the mosaics, the choir, the apse, the nave and the cupolas follow one another. Let's face it : going up to Notre-Dame de la Garde is to rise up body and soul. Father Jacques Bouchet, rector of the basilica, put it nicely, "beauty draws towards God", we will not be surprised that the "Bonne Mère" dominates from so high this Marian place, decidedly like no other.
