Summary:

In Sao Paulo, some non-traditional families are articulating in favor of LGBT rights. With surnames such as D'Matthah, Vallentyne Lawinny, Mad Queen, Lobos or Stronger, these families are groups made up of LGBT youth and adolescents from the periphery, who decided to unite not because of blood ties, but because of affection and the desire to conquer the public space without fear, without feeling discriminated. The origin of each family varies. Dating back to the mid-2000s, they now bring together hundreds of members, mostly between 16 and 20 years old, who divide into the roles of father, mother, son or daughter. The series intends to reveal the profile of each of these groups of young people and teenagers. Five families will be portrayed, focusing on three of their members.

Episode 1: No primeiro episódio da série, acompanhamos uma das famílias LGBT mais antigas. A D'Matthah surgiu há 16 anos em Mauá (SP), e desenvolve ações de acolhimento e uma militância cotidiana, sempre empenhada em promover políticas públicas voltadas para o público LGBT. Vemos as ações da família no Conselho Municipal de Direitos Humanos e Cidadania LGBT de Mauá, uma das criações da D'Matthah, e no Centro de Referência e Defesa dos Direitos Humanos em São Paulo. Seguimos o cotidiano de três membros: Fuh Miguel, fundador da família, que tenta equilibrar as demandas de militante com a vida amorosa; Jeh Evans, irmão adotivo de Fuh Miguel, às voltas com as últimas notícias sobre o pai biológico, um sujeito homofóbico e morador de rua; e Josh Leone, que está retomando o ensino médio e precisa ouvir de seu pai, Fuh Miguel, conselhos sobre uma grande novidade.
