Based on participatory design strategies, direct observation, fieldwork and dialogue established with community leaders, this book includes urban dynamics, environmental cycles (sun, wind and water), sociocultural structure and ancestral thinking of the Afro-descendant and indigenous Nasa-páez population, and at the same time investigates how urban and rural settlements are organized and how the houses that make up these community territories are conceived through resources such as survey sheets and maps both urban and architectural.
