Summary:
The exhibition project that was part of the research Trazas, Oficios y Territorios is part of the program La Colección en Escena; a space for curatorial experimentation of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogota (MAMBO), which aims to construct innovative and alternative discourses from the Museum's collection, consisting of more than 4700 works, produced from the early 20th century to the present. The Colección en Escena situates curatorial creation in a transversal territory in order to investigate the interrelationships existing in artistic practice. In this second edition, the MAMBo allied with the research-creation group led by the artist Rosario Lopez to propose a curatorial exercise from her artistic and pedagogical practice; exercise that puts in dialogue the works that are part of the Museum's collection with its recent research on landscape, nature and territory in the mountains La Lindosa, in the department of Guaviare, Colombia. The exhibition proposes a symphony of objects and images that exist by themselves and that, together, contiguous a concert of associations. Trazas, oficios y territorios was a work of collective creation and participation. conceived from the UNC that finds in the academy and the museum an ideal territory - a common territory - to establish nodes and engage in a cross conversation between voices from different areas of knowledge.
