- Daniel presents with a severe case of Autism. The interview with the therapist occurs after an incident that took place within his school with another student named Ryan Fields. Daniel maintains little to no eye contact, and he presents with echolalia, displays limited awareness of emotions, provides scripted answers and is unable to answer open-ended questions. In this case, the therapist is unable to ascertain details about the incident and so the therapist attempts to build a rapport by turning the focus to Daniel's passion for trains.
