- Summary:
- For this 2018 concert at the famous Zurich jazz club Moods, Antonio Sánchez and his group “Migration” perform the music from their album Lines in the Sand, recorded that same year—featuring contemporary, imaginative, and incisive jazz, which develops into a perfect blend of electronic sounds, groove and rock influences. Mexican-American drummer and composer Antonio Sánchez is one of the most celebrated musicians on the international jazz scene. A regular collaborator of Pat Metheny, Gary Burton, Michael Brecker, Chick Corea, and Chris Potter, he is the winner of five Grammy Awards. In 2014, he composed the music for Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s film Birdman and achieved wide renown.
