Swiss composer and drummer Hnatek plays a ‘side-man’ role, alongside Tigran Hamasyan and Erik Truffaz, noted for his thunderous attack and intensity. The quartet play together here within the realms of sublime. Through the controlled explosions of sound, the blazing melodies and the endless breath of Karasan, this concert is a fine experience of spine tingling and gushing harmonies.
