Summary:
Four of jazz’s exemplary disciples, Shai Maestro, Arthur Hnatek, Ari Bragi Kárason, and Rick Rosato combined to produce an unforgettable concert at the Moods Club in Zurich in 2018. Swiss composer and drummer Hnatek plays a ‘side-man’ role, alongside Tigran Hamasyan and Erik Truffaz, noted for his thunderous attack and intensity. The quartet play together here within the realms of sublime. Through the controlled explosions of sound, the blazing melodies and the endless breath of Karasan, this concert is a fine experience of spine tingling and gushing harmonies. It is also the occasion to hear again, one year after its release, the titles from the album Melismetiq. To sum up, this concert is euphoric! This is just one of over 500 amazing jazz concerts available on medici.tv!.
