- For this concert at the Cité de la Musique in Paris, Ernest Ranglin is surrounded by musicians whose paths he has crossed throughout his career: the great drummer Tony Allen, eclectic British saxophonist Courtney Pine, Senegalese singer Cheikh Lô, pianist Alex Wilson, and drummer Ira Coleman. An exceptional musical evening with magical sounds and the unique groove of a pioneer of Jamaican music. Jamaican guitarist and composer Ernest Ranglin is an emblematic figure in ska and reggae music, collaborating with all the great Jamaican singers, from Jimmy Cliff to Bob Marley.
