- "This twenty-first New Year Book comes with thanks to Nicholas Jacobs who organized the translation & Jenny Williams' Introduction. The small image is from the 1937 German edition, and the illustrator remains unknown. Not so Jennie Malbon, who graciously re-drew her frontispiece when the first went adrift in the post. The typefaces are 12pt Sabon for adults and 16pt Centaur for the children among us, and all set by hand; they are printed on Zerkall from John Purcell Paper, as are the cuts made by PLG in Leeds. The whole has been put together by Mike Tregear, Graham Moss & Kathy Whalen."--Colophon
