- Kislak Copy was formerly the Court Oath Hebrew Bible for the Prague Court Jurisdiction. First free-end, verso inscribed by censor Karl Fischer in German and Latin ("Prasens opus Thora sive Lex Mosaica, Judais etiam Chummesh seu Pentateuchus dictam, conformi, ter Celsissimi Casareo-Regu. Bohemia Gubernu. Deucreto ddo=23tia Februaru. 1798..."; signed 9 September 1808. An additional German translation is folded and housed with the volume with another German letter certifying that this Bible is the true Jewish Bible and fit for use of Court Oaths, in front of two bound-in sheets, one with a certification and instruction letter by Fischer and undersigned by Elasar Fleckeles, Chief Rabbi of Prague and Bohemia; instructions include the portions of the Scripture upon which the Oath was taken (which are hand-numbered on their respective folios; for example, Leviticus folio 39 contains the curses and oaths (Ch. XXVI) demarcated in Fischer's handwriting), and each Order title page was pasted with a manuscript note in German, in Fischer's hand, denoting the Latin name.
