"May 1808: folios 1-18; June 1808: folios 19-33;July 1808: folios 34-47; August 1808: folios 48-74.Note. Folios 59-60. Letter, 19 August 1808, to "Dr Alexr Mackay". Given the nature of the letter, an account for "46 sliding rule", and that it was sent to George Street, London, it is probable that "Alexr" is a mistake, and that the addressee was Dr Andrew Mackay (1758-1809), of George Street, London, teacher of navigation.".
