Summary:
Papers include an anonymous letter, 1834, to John Murray II offering to let him see some letters from Matthew Lewis to Frances Lewis, and the codicil to Lewis' will. Also included are manuscript copies, circa 1834, of letters, 1792-1816, from Matthew Lewis to Frances Lewis; manuscript copy of a letter from Matthew Lewis to I. Ingall; and, manuscript copy, c.1834, of the codicil, 1816, to the will of Matthew Lewis, which was witnessed by Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and John Polidori.
