- This collection contains 32 reels of microfilm used by Geoffrey Day in his research on Laurence Sterne. Eighteen of these reels feature a long run of the newspaper The York Courant from 1728 to 1805 with only a few gaps. The remainder of the reels contain an assortment of printed and manuscript sources related directly to Laurence Sterne including facsimiles of copies of Sterne's works held at the British Library, National Library of Australia, and Yale University. In addition, the final two reels are reproductions of two important sets of Sterne manuscripts at the Morgan Library in New York.
