Summary:
This report provides information about the sample, survey instrument, and resultant data for the 2019 Learn Together Surveys (LTS) that were administered to principals and teachers in March 2019 via the RAND Corporation's American Educator Panels (AEP). It includes a full set of basic frequency tables for each survey. The LTS focus on several topics, including social and emotional learning, postsecondary pathways, data use, and supports for students with disabilities, and the results are intended to inform policy and practice related to these topics. This report serves as technical documentation for reports and data notes that draw on LTS data. The 2019 LTS yielded 3,744 complete responses for teachers and 1,679 complete responses for principals, and the responses are weighted to ensure they are nationally representative.
