There are two variant settings of signatures C and N. In the first state, line 1 on C1r reads: ""... because I shall never"" and line 10 of sig. N1r reads: ""... they were in a private room," in the second state, line 1 of sig. C1r reads: ""... because I shall never pay"" and line 10 of sig N1r reads: ""... they were in a private room, shut"". (Cf. Edwin Wolf, ""Historical grist for the bibliographical mill.""
