The first section (14pp.) contains 'The scratching match in imitation of M. Rabelais', followed by 'The tryal of a wife; or, a looking-glass for married men. By another hand' with separate titlepage, "printed in the year 1707", and containing 'A character of a cuckold in fashion' in prose (pp. [6],10p.): this section with separate pagination but continuous register; the final 8pp., with separate register and pagination, contain two poems by Thomas Brown: 'A satir against woman: to a lady who let a fine gentleman die for love of her' and 'A satir on marriage'.
