Remarkable papers : Written by Mr Christopher Love, who was beheaded on Tower-hill, August 22. 1651, for alledged plotting against Oliver Cromwel's government. The publisher can assure the reader, that these papers are taken, without the smallest variation. From a copy which has been in the possession of a gentleman for a great number of years very possibly the author would have given the first of them another title; because he does not lay claim to the spirit of prophesy; but from the exact correspondence between what he has suggested would probably happen, and several late remarkable events, it appears, that, at certain times, he has not been altogether destitute of the influences of that spirit, to whom belongs the knowledge of future events.
