Humble pleadings : For the good old-way or a plain representation of the rise, grounds and manner of several contendings of the Reverend Mr. John Hepburn (minister of the Gospel at Orr in Galloway) and his adherents (a considerable body of people in the south and west) against many sins and defections in the establishment and proceedings of the church and state of Scotland, about and since the revolution. In two parts, the first containing (after a succinct declaration of their principles) an account of many of their grievances. The second containing a true relation of the manner and way of their contendings, with an hint of the treatment they met with. Collected and published by the foresaid people.
