Wagstaff's second catalogue for 1771 : Containing a large and valuable collection of choice books, in all languages, and in every branch of ancient and modern literature: including the genuine library of a reverend and well-known connoisseur, collected in his travels. Amongst which are a great number of rare pieces of antiquity, in the finest preservation. The whole being such a collection as is seldom exposed to public sale. Which will begin to be sold (for ready money only) on Wednesday the first of May, 1771. The prices to each article printed in the catalogue, and marked on the leaf of every book. By George Wagstaff, (a lover and preserver of antiquity) in Brick-lane, the corner of Brown's-lane, Spitalfields; who returns his most grateful thanks to all his worthy customers, and begs the continuance of their favours. Catalogues (Price Six-pence) may be had of the following booksellers; viz. Ridley's, St. James's-street; Law's, St. Martin's Church-yard; Wilkie's, St. Paul's Church-yard; Cooks, at the Royal-exchange; Merritt, at Cambridge; Fletcher, at Oxford; and at the place of sale. Where the utmost value is given for any library or parcel of books. Also books exchanged.
