P. Virgilii Maronis opera: or The works of Virgil : With the following improvements, viz. I. The words of the author are placed in their natural and grammatical order, in the lower part of the page; and such words are supplied as by an ellipsis are omitted, and yet are necessary to make the connection and sense compleat. II. The more remarkable rhetorical figures are pointed out, and placed at the bottom of the page as they occur. III. A scanning table, by which every verse of the author may be scanned, the marginal letter opposite to each verse referring to the same letter in the table. IV. An historical and geographical index, giving an account of the persons and places mentioned in the author. V. The most remarkable phrases, periphrases and proverbial sayings, are render'd into proper English. For the use of schools.
