"This book was designed and printed by The Grabhorn Press providing one copy for each member of The Bohemian Club [i.e. 2250 copies]. The type face is Baskerville ... The illustrations were taken from the book 'California: A history of upper and lower California' printed in London in 1839 ... The paper is Colophin Text. The design on the cover paper was actually printed from a piece of Spanish velvet."--Colophon.
"Edwin Grabhorn's last book. Part of the printing was done by Grabhorn/Hoyem"--Heller.
